Clinical Product Support Specialist

Under the direction of the Clinical Product Support Manager, the Clinical Product Support Specialist will be responsible for supporting healthcare providers, sales representatives, and consumers in furthering their understanding of Standard Process and MediHerb products and general nutrition and physiology knowledge. This position serves as a resource to answer specific technical questions through the online platform, phones, and in the field. 

Essential Functions

• • Periodically write nutrition education content for the Standard Process educational platform
    • Respond to customer, consumers, and sales representative technical questions on products, as related to general nutrition and physiology, that will come from phone calls, emails, customer service, quality assurance, and/or online platforms
      • Work with team to answer questions in the order they come in.
      • Collaborate with Clinical Product Support team, wider Education Team, and other departments to gain answers to questions as needed.
      • Provide a written record of all technical support calls in the format designated by your manager
    • Other Potential Duties:
      • Work with Sales Training Managers to provide nutrition science and physiology insights for sales trainings.
      • Present product education webinars to Standard Process employees in support of Employee Wellness objectives.

     

    • Occasional - in-field support representing Standard Process products in collaboration with Territory Managers. -
    • Occasional support of conventions, conferences or seminars, representing Standard Process products in collaboration with Territory Managers and/or University Relations.
    • Utilize Salesforce for tracking of communication with HCPs

Qualifications 

RD/CNS/ND or DC with certification with specific training in holistic or functional nutrition preferred

Education:

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in nutrition, naturopathic, or chiropractic medicine with a focus on clinical nutrition

Certifications

• RD/CNS/ND or DC with certification with specific training in holistic or functional nutrition preferred

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in nutritional supplements and/or herbs is preferred
• 2 or more years of experience with Standard Process and/or MediHerb supplements preferred
• Experience in communicating with healthcare professionals in both oral and written format
• Experience using a learning management system, Microsoft programs, webinar platforms, and Salesforce preferred

Specialized Knowledge and Skills

• Knowledge of nutritional supplements and herbs, specifically Standard Process and MediHerb
• Knowledge of the regulatory requirements (FDA/FTC)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong public speaking skills in front of small to large groups
• Skills in using a learning management system, Microsoft programs, webinar platforms, and Salesforce
