Under the supervision of the Director of Informatics, the individual in this role will work closely with healthcare professionals, technology teams and resources, and other customer stakeholders to optimize the use of technology to improve patient care, enhance clinical workflows, and ensure data integrity and security. This position requires a strong understanding of healthcare processes, clinical workflows, and information systems. This position requires the ability to work alongside healthcare staff and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This position requires the ability to work outside of single dimensions and support multiple EMRs and CareShare customers.
Knowledge & Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Clinical Informatics or a similar role within the healthcare industry.
- Strong knowledge of clinical workflows, healthcare processes, and terminology
- High degree of Proficiency in working with Clinical Informatics systems and applications, such as EHRs, biomed systems, interfaces, clinical decision support tools, and health information exchange platforms.
- Strong Knowledge of clinical processes from the perspective of multiple disciplines.
- Strong knowledge of clinical processes across the care continuum.
- Highly effective communication skills are required to work with Medical Staff, Board of Directors, Administration/Senior Management, hospital personnel and other ScaledData Health team members. Communication skills should rank near the top of candidate’s skillset.
- Strong knowledge of the relationship of Information Technology and Informatics. Ability to inform the growth of each discipline.
- Complete understanding of healthcare regulations, privacy, and security requirements, including HIPAA, HITECH and Cyber Security models.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex clinical and technical issues and provide innovative solutions.
- Top Tier communication skills with the ability to translate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and build positive relationships with clinicians, leaders, and other stakeholders.
- Must be eager and able to round with hospital staff on a daily basis for training, assessing and networking opportunities
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple CareShare members, projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Must be comfortable working in/with ticketing systems, project management and change control systems. Must be committed to accounting for daily work and activities
- Must be able/willing to work in varying EMR systems, biomed systems, etc.
Requirements:
- BA in informatics, nursing or other clinical specialty, or related field required.
- Five (5) plus years of clinical healthcare experience required.
Logistics:
Remote work is supported when circumstances dictate and is highly dependent on CareShare customer desires. Position is NOT considered remote. Work Location: In person

Salary Range: $79,000 - $102,000 annual
