Position Reports To: Reports to the Nutrition Therapy & Diabetes Director. Maintains CBORD under the direction of the Food Services Director.
- Position splits time between CBORD administration and Clinical Nutrition & Diabetes informatics
- Responsible for CBORD system wide maintenance and support, interdisciplinary collaboration, and staff education
- Develop and support cutting edge MNT/Diabetes and malnutrition work utilizing EHR and CBORD
- Leverage population health data for growth and expansion of MNT and Diabetes programs
- Build and maintain reporting for reimbursement and denial data, population health, and program metrics related to MNT and Diabetes
- Continue the development and maintenance of clinical charting standards, metrics, benchmarks and competencies
- EHR subject matter expert; develops optimization for the department, including clinical and non-clinical uses, enhancing user experience and efficiencies
- Responsible for staff scheduling, timesheet data and timecard maintenance
- May provide direct patient care (virtual or in person per department needs)
- Participate in Lean process improvements
- Must be self-directed and highly organized as position flexes between departments
- Hybrid work requirement: on site one day per quarter, depending on organization needs

- Master’s degree in Food and Nutrition, or related field (or Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition of related field with Internship completed before 12/31/2023)
- 2 years Registered Dietitian
- Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Washington State Certified Dietitian (CD) licensure within 3 months of hire
- Maintain active Basic Life Support (CPR) certification, MA-R and Washington State Food Handlers Permit (completed within 3 months of hire)
- Must be proficient with Windows navigation, Microsoft Office Suite
- Master’s degree
- Advanced Board Certification
- 2 year’s experience with Electronic Health Records (prefer Epic), including navigation, charting, documentation, and system optimization
- 2 year’s experience with Food and Nutrition Information Systems management (prefer CBORD)
F = Frequent, represents 26 to 50% or up to 1 hour of a 2 hour workday.
C = Continuous, represents 51% to 100% or up to 2 hours of a 2 hour workday.
