The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As a Clinical Documentation Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Collecting wound assessments based on payer requirements.
• Review clinical information and assess wound progression for patients on V.A.C. ® Therapy.
• Develop and manage customer relationships creating loyalty with Clinical Providers.
• Collaborate with other KCI team members to provide continuity of care, resolving higher level account management issues, and communicating physician call support.
• Effectively using business and clinical data in accordance with KCI policies.

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• High school diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

AND

• Two (2) years of experience making outbound calls in a private, public, government, or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Experience with interpretation of medical records

Work location:

• Hybrid Eligible (Job Duties allow for some remote work but require travel to San Antonio, TXat least [3] days per week)

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $41,471 - $50,686, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
