JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Clinical Documentation Specialist is responsible for maintaining support of Clinical Documentation including management of accuracy, improvement, and completeness of documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with current and unencumbered license to practice professional nursing in the state of employment.
- Associates' degree in Vocational/Practical Nursing from an accredited program, preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years' experience in Clinical Documentation review; experience in home care operations, preferred.
- Prior experience using Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical documentation software.
- Proficient in medical terminology.
- Superior time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with clinicians and administrative staff.
- Access to reliable transportation.
