Job SummaryThis Clinical Coordinator will assist in placing women's health nurse practitioner and nurse midwifery students in clinical sites in the State of Georgia.
ResponsibilitiesClinical Coordination of WHNP and NM students - 95
This Clinical Coordinator will assist in placing students in clinical sites in the State of Georgia and be responsible for the following duties:
- Meet with trainees to arrange and plan their clinical placements and preceptor assignments.
- Recruit new preceptors and ensure that they have the core knowledge, skills, and abilities to serve as preceptors and connect them with any needed resources.
- Liaison with preceptors, practice partners and the SON.
- Initiate MOU requests and keep database of clinical MOUs.
- Assist students in obtaining additional clinical sites, as needed.
- Provide notices of professional development to the preceptors and practice partners.
- Assure database is accurate for student and preceptor tracking.
- Assist students, faculty, and preceptors in completing evaluation procedures.
