The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University is seeking a full- time Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery sub-specialist. Department is offering a fixed-term or tenure-track appointments at the title/rank of Clinical Assistant Professor/Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor/Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor/Professor. The department supports a four-year, fully accredited residency in obstetrics and gynecology and provides education for medical students on a continual basis.
The mission of the Department of OB GYN encompasses the triad of academic medicine: leadership in patient care, teaching of medical students and resident physicians, and the pursuit of clinical and basic science research.
The Division of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery currently includes 1 board certified sub-specialty physician and 1 nurse. The Division is new and growing with new equipment and rich opportunities for growth in both clinical and research contexts.

Job Duties
The physician hired will participate in all areas of patient care and teaching provided by the Department of OB GYN.
Minimum Education/Experience
Candidates must possess an MD or DO degree, be eligible for practice in the State of North Carolina by the time of employment and qualify for medical staff privileges at ECU Health Medical Center. Candidates must also be board certified with the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology with sub-specialty certification in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.
