The George L. Argyros College of Business and Economics at Chapman University invites applications for a non-tenure track Clinical Assistant Professor of Management beginning August 1, 2024. The position is open at the non-tenure track Clinical Assistant Professor level. Applicants with experience in any of the following areas are encouraged to apply: organizational development, communication, organizational leadership with a dedication to teaching in leadership development, organizational communication, leadership and professional ethics, leadership in diverse and multicultural organizations, and team development.

• Doctoral Degree in human resource management, organizational behavior, organizational leadership or a related field.

• Outstanding record of professional achievement.

• 8-10 years of teaching experience; evidence of teaching excellence.

• Potential for publishing high-quality academic research.

Responsibilities

• Teach eight undergraduate and/or graduate courses (24 credits total) annually (August - May) in area of expertise

• Actively contribute as an integral member of the Argyros College faculty by engaging in department and university service as expected of a non-tenure track faculty member

• Plan, develop, and deliver high-quality courses

• Offer regular office hours to provide students with opportunities for one-on-one consultations, academic advising, and clarification of course materials

• Participate in advising for students, helping them select appropriate courses and develop academic plans

• Contribute to the overall mission of the institution by attending program meetings and supporting campus-wide initiatives and events

• Serve on academic committees or task forces within the institution, contributing to discussions and decisions related to academic policies, curriculum development, and other relevant matters
