Clinic Supervisor

Position Details:

• Overview: Do you enjoy working in a busy clinical specialty, and doing a variety of tasks while overseeing team members? Join our dermatology team as a District Supervisor!
• Typical Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm, this position is salary/hours may vary
• District Location: Mt Vernon District (Anacortes, Bellingham, Coupeville, Mount Vernon)
• Wage Range: $65,000-$72,000 annual salary (Pay is dependent upon a combination of multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, transferable skills, business needs, and geographic market availability)

Responsibilities:

• Manages MAs, Scribes, Front Desk and other support positions (RNs, LPNs, surgery technicians, radiation therapists, cosmetic patient care coordinators, etc) within designated district, with ability to travel regularly to those locations.
• Coordinates front and back office staffing within their district.
• Works with District Manager to maintain positive work environment supporting patients, providers, and staff.
• Assists in the recruitment of clinical and front desk personnel needed to staff the facility in order to assure safe, efficient, and effective patient care.
• Executes policy as needed to accommodate changing activities within the clinic with District Manager sign-off.
• Work with Human Resources regarding HR issues.
• Assures that clinical services are provided in accordance with company policies, procedures, and regulation standards.
• Conducts annual evaluations of employee performance along with the District Manager.
• Consults with Supervisors and Leads on determining progressive discipline based on performance.
• Approves time and attendance in ADP.
• Monitors timecard allocations (location and overtime)
• QA/QC (Compliance).
• Mentor and oversee training of Clinical and Front Desk team members.
• Review quarterly Patient Satisfaction Surveys and follow up as needed.
• Attends all required education meetings, both in house and external.
• Ensures records are kept for all In-Service Education programs.
• Presides at regularly scheduled staff meetings as needed.
• Surfaces operational friction points to the DM/Central Operations team along with proposed solutions.

• Help open new office locations including onboarding and training on FDP best practices and systems.

• Coverage for District Manager as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED); And
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant, LPN, or RN program; OR
• Current Medical Assistant certification or LPN/RN License; OR
• Five or more years of management experience in a healthcare setting or 3 years administrative healthcare experience preferred.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent sales and customer service skills, with proven negotiation skills.
• Excellent math skills to draft and implement budgets and conduct data analysis.
• Excellent supervisory and leadership skills.
• Thorough understanding of company's products and/or services, and those of immediate competitors in the surrounding market.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
