Jefferson Healthcare (www.jeffersonhealthcare.org) is looking for a full timeClinical Supervisor to help lead our Emergency Department & Express Clinic teams. Our staff and providers are committed to providing the very best patient care to the community and this supervisor will help this goal.
The Clinical Supervisor coach, mentor, precept, motivate and supervise team members while influencing staff to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work. They will also will perform staff competency evaluations and provide input to the director for staff annual performance reviews. Our ideal candidate will have several years of experience in critical care and be an RN with a BSN. They will also be mission driven, and have a desire to grow their career stepping into this leadership opportunity.

This is a full time, exempt position, and will remain open until filled.
Qualifications:
- Current Washington state RN license or multistate RN license (MSL) in good standing.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
- BSN preferred.
- Three years of experience in critical care area required.
- Leadership/supervisory experience preferred.
- Knowledgeable about appropriate practice acts including the Nurse Practice Act, Health Care Assistant Act, etc., and regulatory agencies.

Selection of Responsibilities:
- Provides staff leadership in areas of coaching, mentoring, and standards of care and practice to maintain, develop, and enhance the operations for assigned areas of accountability.
- Performs staff competency evaluations and provides input to the director for staff annual performance reviews.
- Provides feedback and makes recommendations to the director regarding performance management and disciplinary issues.
- Plans and coordinates with the director budget requirements for personnel, performance of work, supplies, and equipment.
- Responsible for cost controls to ensure maximum effectiveness of funds expended from the approved departmental budgets.
- Supports and develops the Emergency Department and Express Clinic staff in the coordination of work assignments, and training and development.
- Ensures adequate staffing related to patient census. Coordinates/schedules staff to include all leaves. Reviews staff time and ensures accuracy for payroll purposes.
- Participates in the recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of new employees.
- Coordinates and facilitates huddles and staff meetings.
- Maintains continuing quality assessment, improvement analysis, and evaluation of patient care delivery and communicates with the director on the activities/issues of the inpatient care services.
- Initiates and participates in problem-solving, policy-forming conferences for patient care services.
