We at Medical Essential Providers are a rapidly growing healthcare provider for all frontline workers in the state of New York. Our new Bronx Clinic is currently hiring for a Clinic Operations Manager!
Administrative/project Management/Policies Responsibilities.
- Ensure that all front office policies and procedures are current and make appropriate updates.
- Continually assess and adjust patient flow for increased efficiencies.
- Coordinate and delegate administrative and clinic maintenance responsibilities such as patient access, patient education sheets, patient experience surveys, chart creation and other special projects.
- Continually assess the Program’s strengths and weaknesses as well as the changing client communities and service needs.
Clinic Management Responsibilities:
- Responsible for direct supervision of all front office personnel.
- Coordinates with back office management to ensure operational efficiency.
- In conjunction with the Managing director, leads team staff meetings to address personnel matters, operational issues, and to assist in resolving problems that may exist.
- In conjunction with the Managing director, establish procedures for reception, intake, eligibility determination, and medical records filing, including scheduling of staff and task management.
- Ensures that appropriate staff are trained.
- Handles aspects of management, including direct supervision and mentoring of subordinate staff.
- Managerial activities may include but are not limited to, participation in hiring, training, motivating, evaluating, and reviewing front office staff.
- May serve as Director in absence of Managing Director.
Education and Knowledge, skills and abilities
- Bachelor’s in related fields .
- Minimum of 1 years community based program management experience or equivalent.
- Experience in a Supervisory role.
- Experience participating in and leading organizational change and restructuring.
- Excellent leadership, organizational and communication skills.
- Commitment to providing nonjudgmental quality health care to those in need.
- Commitment to and experience with a volunteer based agency.
- Experience and commitment to working with diverse communities.
