Days and Shifts:
- Full-time position
- 40 hours per week
- Monday – Friday from 6:45 AM or 8 AM – 5 PM or 7 PM (varies)
- Weekend rotation with other staff: Saturday from 7:45 AM – 12 PM and Sunday from 11 AM – 3 PM
- Works 3 days/week as CLinic Clerk/Receptionist and 2 days/week as Referral Clerk
Description:
- Responsible for answering multi-line telephone, scheduling appointments, routing phone calls, and taking messages
- Obtains insurance information and checks patients in upon their arrival
- Greets and assists customers as needed
- Other clerical support as requested
- Referral clerk obtains referrals for patients referred to specialists by our providers
- Provides clerical/receptionist support
Requirements
Educational/Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Excellent verbal/interpersonal customer service and computer skills
- Ability to use electronic medical record and other software programs
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English well
- Experience in healthcare setting helpful
