SalaryMetropolitan Veterinary Hospital is seeking qualified Full Time Customer Service Representatives for our Specialty Departments. We are a 24-hr Emergency hospital which delivers the highest quality of advanced critical and emergency care to pets from northeast Ohio.
The Client Services Representative role provides consistent and outstanding Client Services to support our high-volume Emergency, Specialty and Referral practices.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Greets clients promptly and courteously upon arrival for a variety of services.
- Responds professionally to client's requests for assistance in various areas.
- Check- in patients for scheduled services; appointments, emergencies, and outpatient procedures.
- Concludes client/patient visit with check out, schedules follow-up appointments, or procedures, accepts and processes payment.
- Manage large amounts of inbound hospital call professionally and courteously.
- Manage multiple phone lines effectively; prioritize phone calls.
- Identify clients' needs, clarify information, provide solutions, and alternatives.
- Communicate in a timely, respectful, and professional manner in all formats: written, oral, non-verbal, and electronic.
- Take accurate messages and forward calls to the appropriate personnel.
- Facilitates communications to and from clients as necessary and directed.
- Provides general and specific information as necessary and appropriate to clients.
- Remains poised and professional with challenging clients or circumstances.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong aptitude for verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship development
- Customer-oriented and friendly
- Active listener and detail-oriented
- Prioritization and time management skills
- Working quickly without compromising quality
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays. The hospital is open 24/7
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a medical or veterinary office preferred
- Strong computer skills
- Basic math
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Salary: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
