About the Team & Role
Penn Game Studios (PGS) is searching for an experienced and enthusiastic software engineer to join our Game Client development team. The right candidate will take responsibility for the implementation, documentation, and optimization of games and management tools in our system. Work includes building front ends for platform-level tools such as reporting, user management, and CMS, and writing libraries used across the front-end engineering team.
About the Work
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
- Implement front-end tools and platform libraries.
- Write production-ready Typescript/JavaScript code in React
- Manage tasks and communicate with producers and teammates.
- Work with teammates to design high-quality solutions for novel problems.
- Research and apply new technologies when appropriate.
- Maintain technical documentation of your solutions.
About You

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or five years of software engineering experience
- Experience building production applications in Typescript/Javascript
- Solid Understanding of Typescript, Javascript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with Git and Github or similar
- Experience with modern web frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular
- Experience consuming and integrating APIs
- A solid understanding of working with the browser as a development tool
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to solve technical problems with practical constraints
