About Client:
The client provides information technology (IT) services, including business outsourcing, infrastructure technology, and application services. The application service offered by the company includes application development, maintenance, and support. The markets served by the company are financial services and insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, government, transportation, communications, and consumer and retail industries.
Salary Range: $180K-$200K Base Per Annum + Benefits
Job Description:

  • The Account Manager, is responsible for all client interfaces within the assigned Healthcare Payer account scope.
  • He/she need to build an account plan and is responsible for client management based on account plan incorporating Mphasis digital, transformational and traditional services.
  • The successful candidate understands the complexities of IT systems within a healthcare payer, the need for compelling client engagement strategies as well as the objective to transform operations to position Mphasis in achieving optimal results.
  • This is a new position to expand the existing national sales team for a large Health Insurer client.
Responsibilities:
  • Client Relationship management & business development
  • Lead client relationship to build pipeline via direct outreach to senior business/ Technology leaders within the assigned client to build a portfolio of $10M Annually
  • Close opportunities to obtain annual revenue targets
  • Leverage proven, past client rolodex to expand into newer segments
  • Account Planning and Governance
  • Build Account Plan including relationships, Client spend analysis and growth areas
  • Opportunities to be pursued and price decisions
  • Delivery assurance & Management
  • Collaborate with all delivery team members involved to ensure fulfillment of all commitments to client
  • Ensure proactive redressal of client issues across functions to ensure client satisfaction
  • Primary Performance Measurements
  • Account Revenue vs target
  • Multi-level client engagements, offering based sales and pitches
  • Opportunity identification and lead qualification

Preferred Qualification & Experience
  • Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution.
  • Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education and 7+ years of experience, with strong sales/relationship management/account management experience
  • Significant business development and project management experience
  • Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentations
  • Wide variety of IT and business consulting engagement experience
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and Healthcare Payer domain expertise
  • Knowledge of Healthcare payer industry go-to market solutions
  • Good understanding of Healthcare payer specific business issues and drivers
  • Global Delivery model experience
  • Track record as an Account Manager in a rapidly growing client relationship
