Client Accountant

We're looking for an Accountant to work in our busy office environment. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, capable of working independently and comfortable interacting with staff from all levels of the organization. This position requires a high level of attentiveness and meticulousness. A successful candidate will have strong organizational skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment, as well as have previous experience with preparation of financial statements and developing budgets.

Responsibilities:

• Accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Maintain multiple client books and records
• Prepare reconciliations of all accounts to ensure their accuracy for month-end/year-end closing and any adjusting entries needed.
• Issue internal “management use only – no assurance provided” financial statements.
• Maintain an orderly accounting filing system.
• Maintain the chart of accounts.
• Preparation of various tax reports including sales/use, gross receipts, payroll, personal property, 1099’s, etc.
• Assist client with creation of annual budget.
• Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to client.
• Complete local, state, and federal government reports.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $48,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
