The Village of Black Creek is seeking candidates for a full time Clerk-Treasurer. The Clerk-Treasurer is responsible for the efficient and proper conduct of all municipal government administrative services and duties for the Village. This includes but is not limited to preparing the budget, taxes, managing finances, PR, AP, AR, attend all committee and board meetings, record and maintain minutes, responsible for all aspects of elections including training poll workers, work with all departments to insure enforcement of ordinances and other duties as assigned. Must possess good verbal, writing and inter-personal skills and be proficient at Word and Excel. Qualified applicants must be motivated, self-starting, and able to multi-task. Previous municipal experience including Workhorse software is a plus. Salary based on qualifications.
Physical requirements include the ability to move around the facility, walk, sit, bend, climb, kneel, carry and stoop. Ability to use hand and finger motions with enough manual dexterity to use computers and handle print materials. Lift up to 25 pounds alone, and perform other efforts as identified with normal office work. Duties are performed in surroundings where undesirable physical conditions and hazards are minor and controllable.
