Job Goal:
Ensure the efficient operations of Educator Development and provide secretarial assistance in order to maintain an orderly, efficient, and professional office atmosphere in support of the ESC’s goals and objectives.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or GED
Experience:
Experience in a customer service environment with direct customer contact
Special Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong proficiency in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks under pressure
- Ability to exercise initiative, make decisions, and maintain confidentiality
Major Responsibilities:
Department Support
- Answer and route calls.
- Respond to Leadership email messages.
- Organize presentation packets.
- Make and prepare copies.
- Scan documents.
- Organize, inventory and monitor storage supplies.
- Attend virtual trainings to assist presenters with attendance for certification.
- Schedule customer deliveries or pick-up for completed projects.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Identify and implement initiatives to improve the efficiency of the department’s clerical workflow.
- Support the department in maintaining an effective and professional office environment.
- Cross-train and provide support to Educator Development Department.
Department Responsibilities
- Create and maintain department calendar, and contact information.
- Assist department with travel arrangements.
- Keep office organized, maintain adequate supplies, and maintain current files in an electronic format, according to ISO procedures.

Physical Demands/Environmental Factors/ Mental Demands:
Frequent use of standard office equipment; stamina to stand and walk within the Print Center for the duration of the shift; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting; repetitive hand motions while operating bindery equipment; lifting and carrying of moderately heavy and bulky packages (e.g. 50 lb boxes of photocopy paper); may work prolonged and irregular hours; work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under pressure.
