Work Environment
- Must be willing to work in refrigerated warehouse environment – Cold/Wet 38°F
- Must be able to workdays, nights, holidays, weekends and overtime as scheduled or needed.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Willing to take direction from Receiving Specialist and ability to work well with others
- Proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) must be worn at all times.
- Must follow HACCP, GMP and Safety guidelines (training will be provided).
- Report all problems and concerns to supervisor.
- Always adhere to GMP guidelines throughout the facility.
- Maintain the integrity of HACCP (Food Safety) plans as it relates to job function(s).
- Understand and follow safety procedures.
- Work in a team environment.
- Perform other reasonable job-related duties.
- Research Shipping requirements by gathering pertinent information for incoming loads and verify products shipping requirements meets Taylor Farms TX standards.
- Provide ongoing communication to the management team (Purchasing, QA, Production); give accurate information verbally and written about issues as necessary to Receiving associates, Company Management, Transportation Manager, Production Manager, Accounting Department and Purchasing Manager.
- Prepare inventory reports and maintain historical data by documenting all receiving activities and prepare reports as required; maintain carrier record as required, reporting receiving problems to management team; completing for accurately and legibily; filing information as directed by management.
Education/Experience
- High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- 2+ years experience in Receiving department.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Language Skills - Must be able to read and write clearly in English, bi-lingual a plus. Must have the ability to read and interpret documents such as operating instructions, and manuals
- Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, decimals, and calculating percentages.
- Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Detail oriented
- Good Organizational Skills- Must be able to prioritize
Physical Requirements
- Be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time (8hrs) repetitive work
- Walking, standing, use of equipment to include but not limited to: hand carts, calculator, digital camera, scales reftractometer, ruler, digital thermoemther and computer keyboard.
- Must submit to post offer, pre-employment drug test and employment history check.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
