Job Description:

- Process and review didactic, specialty, and group documentation daily for completeness, signatures, dates, etc. before filing in client charts.
- Prepare new files for arriving treatment clients. Be sure proper authorizations have been obtained and necessary PIHP paperwork is accurate and complete.
- Demonstrate competency with the knowledge of funding source rules, regulations, and requirements.
- Enter required PIHP data into county specific IT systems daily.
- Process and maintain authorization monitoring sheets daily.
- Process medical record requests timely.
- Assist staff with obtaining forms and typing letters.
- Prepare and send transferred cases in their entirety to the appropriate outpatient office for clients transferring from Memphis residential.
- Process charts for permanent filing.
- Answer incoming telephone calls quickly, courteously, and respectfully.
Education/Skills:
- High School diploma/GED; some college experience preferred
- Extraordinary attention to detail
- Organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
