Front Desk Clerk

We are looking for one Part Time Third Shift (11pm-7am) Hotel Front Desk Clerk to serve as our guests’ first point of contact and manage all aspects of their accommodation. Hotel Front Desk Agent responsibilities include registering guests, managing reservations and providing information about rooms, rates and amenities. If you have a knack for customer service and work experience in the hotel industry, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

· Greeting guests both in person and over the phone

· Coordinating guest check-in/check-out and assisting guests with making reservations

· Checks guests into and out of the hotel in an accurate, speedy and courteous manner

· Answers phone-taking reservations and answering questions and inquiries

· Ensures that all hotel keys are distributed to the appropriate parties and that guest privacy is maintained.

· Offers guests assistance whenever possible

· Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel policies and services.

· Handling financial transactions (credit)

· Effectively operate the hotel computer system

· Must respond to and follow-up on all guest email requests

· Open and close shifts correctly

· Execute group reservations, manage blocks and cut off dates

· Provide the highest quality of customer service to the guest at all times

· Assists in Laundry during down times and/or as needed

· Reports any maintenance, security or safety issues to the appropriate staff

· Complete the shift work checklist as assigned

· Know and be able to execute Emergency Procedures

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent required

· Hotel FRONT DESK experience preferred

· Customer service background preferred

· Friendly & professional verbal communication

· Basic computer skills

· Driver’s license & reliable transportation preferred

· Must be able to work some weekends

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Night shift
• Weekends as needed
