This position is full-time, Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 7:00am – 3:30pm PST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends. Our office is located at 2304 Zanker Rd San Jose CA 95131.

We offer 90 days of on-the-job training. The hours of the training will be aligned with your schedule.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide expertise or general claims support by reviewing, researching, investigating, processing and adjusting claims
• Analyze and identify trends and provide reports to supervisor as necessary
• Consistently meet established productivity, schedule adherence and quality standards

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent years of work experience
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 1+ years of experience in a related environment (i.e. office, administrative, clerical, customer service, etc.) using phones and computers as the primary job tools
• Proficiency with computer, Microsoft Office applications, and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications
• Ability to work our normal business hours of 7:00am – 3:30pm PST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime or weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience processing medical, dental, prescription or mental health claims

• Reside within commutable distance to 2304 Zanker Rd San Jose, CA 95131
  
• Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
• Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy.
• Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.

California Residents Only: The hourly range for California residents is $16.54 - $32.55 per hour.
