RAM is seeking to add a Claims Department Coordinator to our fantastic team of employees. In this role, you will provide the necessary administrative support functions to help the department successfully process claims in a timely and efficient manner while providing exceptional customer service. As a Claims Department Coordinator, you will be responsible to:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to mutual partners, agents and policy holders as the primary point of contact for the department.
  • Respond to customer inquiries quickly, accurately and in a professional manner.
  • Provide prompt, courteous, and high-quality work in response to management direction and internal customer needs.
  • Assist with claims set up, procuring documents/records, document retrieval, researching complex claim and policy coding issues, etc., as requested by adjusters.
  • Identify and resolve problems according to departmental guidelines; offer first level problem resolution to customers and escalate inquiries appropriately.
  • Handle key support functions for office such as processing incoming mail, performing indexing functions, check processing and distribution, etc.
  • Process glass and roadside assistance auto claims, collections, unclaimed property and Explanation of Reviews, etc.
  • Manage and maintain Claims department data.
  • Report new claims to claimant carriers.
  • Generate, distribute, and process internal reports.
  • Completes assigned work within established standards for timeliness and accuracy.
  • Complete special projects assigned by manager.
