In this position you will be performing site inspections to bid on prospective civil projects. You will be responsible for scoping, estimating, and assist in the selling of your assigned projects. This position will support the team by providing resources, gathering information related to concrete paving, mass excavation, storm sewer, utilities, and other materials needed in the daily operations. You will be responsible for multiple projects at one time.

Duties & Responsibilities
· Collect historical cost data to estimate costs for current or future products.
· Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments, or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
· Prepare estimates used by management for purposes such as planning, organizing, and scheduling work.
· Analyze survey, blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
· Confer with engineers, architects, owners, clients, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates as necessary.
· Consult with industry experts to discuss estimates and resolve issues.
· Calculate estimates utilizing appropriate software.
· Regularly evaluate products profitability.
· Recommend ways to make a product more cost effective and profitable.
· Partner with sales teams to prepare estimates and bids for clients.
· Coordinate with potential clients on bids and price quotes.
· Compile, organize, and manage all submitted bids to track won/lost/unknown.
· Will assist in maintaining responsibility for all vendors and/ or contractors that work with Environmental Allies, LLC.
Qualifications / Competencies
· Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
· 5 Years of experience in Construction or related industry.
· 2 Years of estimating experience.
· 5 Years of bidding concrete paving experience.
· 5 Years of Mass Excavation experience.
· 5 years of Storm Sewer experience.
· 5 Years of Utilities experience
· Experience with estimating software preferred.
· Microsoft Excel and Word proficiency.
· Attention to details and organizational skills.
· Effective at monitoring and managing multiple projects.
· Emphasis on accurate project estimating.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $75,000.00 per year
