This position is located within USDA Rural Development (RD) and serves in a developmental trainee capacity. The position is located in the Massachusetts State Office and serves as a Student Trainee (Civil Engineer) under the Pathways Intern Program.
This is NOT a remote position. The incumbent will be expected to report to the office.Qualifications: Applicants must meet all qualifications and eligibility requirements by the closing date of the announcement including specialized experience and/or education, as defined below.
For the GS-03 grade level: Applicants must have completed 1 full academic year of post-high school study.
For the GS-04 grade level: Applicants must have completed 2 full academic years of post-high school study or an associate's degree.
At the undergraduate level, successfully completed education that has not led to possession of a degree is credited based on its relationship to 120 semester hours or 180 quarter hours. For example, 30 semester hours or 45 quarter hours is comparable to 1 year of undergraduate education.
