Civil Engineer (PE) - Water/Wastewater Duties:
- Establish and maintain relationships in all facets of land development, collaborating with external stakeholders such as developers, municipalities, and state entities, as well as internal partners like surveyors, engineering groups, and administrative support teams.
- Develop proposals and plans, outlining project scope, related fees, and costs, while ensuring progress tracking and reporting. Possess knowledge of land regulations in subdivisions or regions. Prepare and present work for public and closed-county/city meetings. Work on projects spanning roads and drainage for commercial, industrial, and subdivisions from land purchase to finished lots.
- Role model and mentor, contributing to team building, maintenance, and mentoring. Actively participate in community and professional organizations.
Civil Engineer (PE) - Water/Wastewater Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Registered Civil PE in Texas (And ability to get registered in New Mexico & Oklahoma)
- 4 years of experience in Water and Wastewater Treatment, including booster pump/lift stations
- Design and project experience, covering the entire project lifecycle from conception to completion
- Proficient in AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and Civil 3D software
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, delegating tasks effectively while maintaining awareness of the overall project scope. Excellent communication skills in all areas.
- A lifelong learner with a strong work ethic, and a desire to mentor and cultivate new Civil Engineers.
