Job Description
A Southern California civil engineering firm specializing in Civil Land Development, Survey Mapping, and Storm water Management is seeking a Civil Design Engineer to join their team in Orange County The Civil Engineer with help provide civil design for commercial, residential and industrial land development projects to include drainage, grading, utility and roadway plans.
Responsibilities:
- Under the general direction of Project Managers, prepare engineering drawings / maps to firm standards
- Design basic construction documents and prepare special exhibits and constraint maps reflecting field data
- Perform design tasks, engineering calculations, solve design problems and develop knowledge of general design standards and agency requirements for plan preparation
Qualifications:
- 2+ year of Civil Design experience in Land development:
- Grading and Improvements Design
- Water, Sewer, and Storm Drain Plan preparation
- Hydrology & Hydraulic Analyses
- SWPPP preparation
- WQMP/SUSMP/LID preparation
- Bachelors in Civil Engineering
- EIT registration is preferred
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
Pay Range: $85,000 to $110,000 per year and is negotiable based upon experience
