Insurance Billing Assistant in Chiropractic & Massage Clinic
IMMEDIATE OPENING: 15-20 hours per week
Our office is seeking a reliable, experienced, well organized Medical Billing Assistant to join our team.
If YOU have:
Billing software experience
Familiarity of medical terminology, CPT and ICD coding for a chiropractic and massage clinic
Ability to read and interpret EOBs
Experience with insurance websites and medicare
Duties and Responsibilities include:
Verifying insurance benefits (group insurance, medicare, 3rd party, PIP, L&I)
Interpretation of EOBs, application of payments, adjustments, co-pay
Accurate data entry of patient information and charges including:
Research and investigate proper payment and denials of insurance claims through resolution
Credentialing of practitioners
