What you get to do every day
- Manage elements of specific patient accounts, such as billing and reimbursement
- Send notices to insurance companies and patients for request for payment
- Coordinate with numerous working teams to guarantee quality of data and uniformity- Previous experience with an electronic medical record system preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Outlook and internet applications
- A real talent for the explanation of benefits (EOBs)
- EMR (Electronic Medical Records) experience
- Microsoft Office Suites experience
- HIPAA compliance patient privacy rules experience highly desired
- EMR (Electronic Medical Records) experience required
- Medical billing experience preferred
- Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required
- Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills
- Prefer 2 years experience in medical billing or within the revenue cycle
