Job description
The Payments Analytics team is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting on Payments, Apple Wallet/Pay/Card, Apple subscription management data and Gift Cards data. From this data we generate insights into how customers interact with Payments products and services, and use these insights to drive improvements to user-facing features. The volume of the data is on petabytes scale. The systems should scale well, be highly available and provide consistent results. The systems we build have significant impact on our stakeholders. And most importantly, we are deeply committed to Apple’s privacy policy, which forms Apple’s core values. You will have important responsibility and influence in designing and building the data platform to empower data analytics. - An ideal candidate will lead and drive partner teams towards successful implementation of the full solution. We are looking for someone with a love for data and ability to iterate quickly on all stages of data pipelines. - This position involves working on a small team to develop large scale data pipelines and analytical solutions using cloud based technologies. - Successful candidates will have strong engineering skills and communication. - The ideal candidate has a real passion for quality and an ability to understand complex systems.
