Our clinic is searching for a talented Chiropractic Assistant (CA) to work directly with a licensed chiropractor and other chiropractic support staff. Previous experience in an office environment is preferred, as is an understanding of the role of a Chiropractic Assistant in an office and knowledge of common chiropractic techniques. The successful candidate will have strong customer service skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Learn the responsibilities of an assistant to a chiropractor and have the ability to perform administrative tasks in the office.
- Learn the basic principles of chiropractic care and be able to apply them in the office.
- Understand ethical and legal issues of chiropractic care and be able to apply them in the office.
- Learn how to communicate well with others, professionally and verbally.
- Be able to respond quickly to a patient in need of assistance and act appropriately.
- Learn how to perform procedures such as blood pressure, temp, systems reviews, and other tasks in the office.
- Practice proper hygiene techniques; understand what is expected by a chiropractor.
- Prepare claim forms for submission to insurance companies; learn how insurance works.
