Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Chiropractic Assistant to join our team. The Chiropractic Assistant will be responsible for assisting the chiropractor with patient care, managing patient records, scheduling appointments, administrative tasks, office cleaning, and some light accounting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and have a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the chiropractor with patient care, including preparing patients for treatment and performing therapies as directed.
- Manage patient records, including updating patient information and maintaining accurate and organized files.
- Schedule appointments and manage the chiropractor's calendar.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as answering the phones, responding to emails, and managing office supplies.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, including answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Posting charges and payments into Stellar software program.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service role preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Knowledgeable in Quicken accounting software.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks, such as typing and filing.
Working Conditions:
- Moderately paced healthcare environment.
- Daily, weekly, and monthly office maintenance and cleaning duties.
