Job Description
A NYS Licensed Homecare Agency serving the 5 Boroughs in New York City County currently hiring bilingual (Chinese English) IT Support Specialist/Administrator to manage the company network, user profiles, user security, system servers, network equipment, phone systems, and system backups. Provides end-user support for employees at the company.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor and evaluate network security systems and recommend improvements or system upgrades.
- Create, maintain, and support network and business systems users/permissions and equipment.
- Install and configure computer/network equipment and supporting infrastructure.
- Configure and monitor daily backups on local and DR systems and support the overall company DR plan.
- Networking knowledge within a Cisco and Meraki environment including VPN Devices, DNS, etc.
- Experience with Cyber Security platforms is a plus.
- All other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- IT infrastructure experience such as server hardware, network hardware, cabling and wireless.
- Ability to analyze information and provide timely and effective response to issues.
- Documenting business processes and system configurations.
- Server scripting and automation experience preferred.
- Microsoft Office 365 Administration.
- Strong people skills, good written and verbal communications, follows directions, meets deadlines.
- Ability to always follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Working knowledge of MS SQL server, relational databases, etc. a plus
