Schedule:

Hours needed: 40 per week - Monday - Friday 700 – 4:00 pm

We are seeking a dedicated Infant and Toddler Caregiver Assistant to join us at our home Childcare and Preschool. We are seeking someone who has a strong passion for working with young children. We are a mixed-aged, intimate program with a max of 12 children -ages 18.mo. - 5 years old. Our unique program is located adjacent to our home. This home program is unique due to its extraordinary space, proximity to neighborhood diversity, and quality materials.

APPLICATION QUESTIONS:

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experienced with young children ages 18mo - 5 years old
• Provide personal care for the children - change diapers / potty training
• Multitasking ability- do a few things at once
• Flexible and handles change well
• Organized and has attention to detail
• Assist with daily curriculum prep and nap time
• Cleaning skills – including kitchen and bathroom
• Food prep- Breakfast, Snack, Lunch Afternoon Snack
• Ability to speak English clearly; writing a plus
• Develop and work with arts and crafts
• Engage the children with singing, dancing and reading

EXPERIENCE:

• 2 years minimum
• Daycare or Child Care Center experience
• Some Early childhood education preferred

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Current Negative TB test
• Required Immunizations, updated vaccinations (flu shot, MMR, tDap) and fully COVID-19-vaccinated
• Ability to Clear Criminal Record and Background Check
• Must have reliable transportation
• Up-to-date Child CPR and First Aid Certification
• Understand that personal phone usage will be limited to breaks and lunch hour during work due to the children need eyes and attention on them at all times. Failure to comply with this can result in immediate termination.
• Preferred: Further education with at least 12 Child Development Units or concurrent enrollment in college, with 6 Child Development units completed and actively pursuing completion of the remaining 6 units (for a total of 12 upon completion
