Job Title:Child Watch Associate
Branch: Upper Main Line YMCA
Pay Class: Part Time
Shifts Available: Monday to Sunday/ 8:00 am - 12:00 pm and Monday to Thursday 4:00 pm-7:15 pm
Starting Rate: $13.00
About the YMCA of Greater Brandywine: The YMCA of Greater Brandywine (YGBW), an association of eight YMCAs serving Chester County, is a non-profit organization committed to nurturing the potential of every child, promoting healthy living and fostering social responsibility through life-changing programs for all.
Position Purpose: The Upper Main Line YMCA is looking for an enthusiastic Child Watch Associate to provide a safe and caring environment for children while in YMCA care. This position will focus on hosting birthday parties.
Responsibilities:

• Assist with the day-to-day operations of our Child Watch area.
• Provide a safe, interactive, fun and caring environment for children in YMCA care.
• Oversee the safety and whereabouts of the children at all times.
• Maintain a clean and risk-free room arrangement.
• Maintain records, including, but not limited to : accident and incident reports, sign in/out sheets.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 15 years of age or older.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Enjoys working with children and prior experience working with children, preferred.
• Must have the ability to interact positively with children and communicate professionally with parents.
