Chief Procurement Officer

```Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services. This is a key role within our organization, and we are looking for someone with strong leadership skills and the ability to strategically plan and execute procurement initiatives.

Duties:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet organizational goals
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms and conditions
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide guidance on best practices
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns that arise
- Oversee the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvement within the procurement function
- Stay current on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements related to procurement

Skills:
- Strong business development skills with the ability to identify new opportunities for strategic partnerships
- Proven ability to manage complex procurement projects from start to finish
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with senior leadership
- Solid understanding of operations management principles and practices
- Experience in process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms and conditions
- Strategic planning abilities with a focus on long-term goals and objectives
- Proficient in project management techniques, including planning, execution, and monitoring

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $398,400.00 - $458,729.95 per year
