Job Duties
Provide efficient, effective, safe, appropriate, and timely support to the hospital's operation and management of clinical and administrative support services. Serves as the Acting Hospital Director in the Director's absence. Ensures the hospital's administrative and support services remain current of state, federal and Joint Commission standards. Ensures the delivery of required administrative and support services. Provides indirect administrative supervision of hospital operations.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of hospital administration, supervising practices, policies, and organizational skills. Possesses the ability to influence change and establish monitors to sustain changes; adjusting to meet changes in hospital operations or regulatory compliance. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration across the organization regarding best practices in daily operations. Adaptive and can think critically when assessing solutions that bring value to the patient population or enhance hospital systems accuracy and efficiency.
Experience with hospital administration, supervising practices, policies and organizational skills is required.
Additional Considerations
Degree in business, hospital or public administration is preferred or equivalent experience in healthcare facility operations with proven administrative, budgetary and supervisory experience is required. Executive management skills across a large, complex organization is required.
