Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Summary: The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) plays a pivotal role in the success of the organization by strategically analyzing the company's financial landscape, identifying strengths, addressing weaknesses, and ensuring transparent communication through comprehensive financial reporting. The CFO functions as a vital business partner to the President/CEO, actively engaging in Funds Management strategy and aligning financial objectives with organizational goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic Financial Analysis: Assess the company's financial strengths and weaknesses to inform strategic decision-making.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and communicate detailed financial reports, ensuring clarity and relevance for various stakeholders.
Business Partnership: Collaborate with the President/CEO, acting as a business partner in the strategic management of Investments, Liquidity, and Capital deployment in adherence to Bank policy.
Translation of Financial KPIs: Translate financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) into meaningful information for the CEO, facilitating informed decision-making.
Alignment with Bank Strategy: Convert the Bank's strategy into tangible financial metrics, suitable for dissemination both internally and externally.
Performance Feedback: Provide timely feedback to management by reporting actual financial results and suggesting improvement strategies.
Board Reporting: Take responsibility for reporting financial information to the board, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Financial Report Approval: Approve all financial reports to maintain accuracy and consistency.
Qualifications:
Technical Expertise: Possess broad technical knowledge encompassing financial management, credit analysis, investment strategies, and cash flow forecasting.
Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively convey financial information to diverse audiences, including the board, executives, and the public.
Strategic Thinking: Exhibit strategic thinking abilities to align financial objectives with the organization's overarching goals.
Compliance Knowledge: Stay informed about regulatory requirements and ensure all financial activities comply with relevant regulations.
