We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to perform and plan the organization’s financial strategy. It is a very important and complex role since an organization can only survive if it actually investigates and safeguards its finances. The CFO must be well-versed in all aspects of financial management ranging from simple accounting to analytical reporting and presentations. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader since all relative departments and shareholders will interface with this position. The goal is to protect the company's revenues and profits to achieve full financial control and sustainable growth.
As Chief Financial Officer, you will direct and oversee the financial and accounting strategies/activities of the Company, direct the preparation of current internal and external financial reports and summaries, and create forecasts predicting future growth. We are a fast growing company with a promising opportunity for the right candidate.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reports, company audits, compliance, and bank relationships. They will collaborate with the CEO and the executive team to make decisions regarding company's financial strategy and operations. The candidate will possess a strong background in finance and management.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Direct the preparation of all financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports, tax returns, and investor reports.
- Compare sales and profit projections to actual figures and budgeted expenses to actual expenses; make or oversee any necessary adjustments to future projections and budgets.
- Execute product and operation strategies, constantly align with the key initiatives of the team.
- Implement and maintain systems and guidelines for financial compliance, security, and controls. Operating in a highly regulated industry, compliance is a constant focus across the business.
- Review planning process and suggest improvements to current methods
- Accounting tasks
- Work as part of our Executive Leadership Team to coordinate planning and establish priorities for the planning process.
- Identify opportunities for expansion into new product areas.
- Develop and lead a best-in-class accounting, finance, and capital markets talent development programs.
Qualifications
- Strong finance-based analytical skills
- Minimum 10 years of finance experience
- CPA or B.S.preferred but not required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $180,000.00 - $210,000.00 per year
