Chief Financial Officer

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of financial leadership, particularly within the global information technology industry. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives, managing risk, and working in a collaborative manner with the C-suite to propel the company forward. In addition to possessing strong financial acumen, the CFO must have demonstrated experience in securing private capital to fuel company expansion.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the company's short-term and long-term objectives.
• Drive financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to optimize resource allocation and maximize profitability.
• Lead the financial forecast model that is tied to our strategic operational plan.
• Evaluate and assess potential investment opportunities, partnerships, and acquisitions to support business growth.
• Oversee capital structure and financing activities, including debt/equity issuances, to ensure adequate funding for strategic initiatives.
• Manage relationships with potential investors, financial institutions, and stakeholders to optimize capital-raising efforts.
• Provide strategic guidance on the financial implications of investment decisions and capital allocation strategies.
• Direct financial operations, accounting, and reporting functions to maintain accuracy, transparency, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Implement robust financial controls and processes to mitigate risk and safeguard company assets.
• Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to executive leadership and the board of directors.
• Drive strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and profitability across all business segments.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities for organic growth, strategic partnerships, and mergers/acquisitions to strengthen the company's competitive position.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience as a CFO or senior financial executive within a global information technology company.
• Demonstrated success in raising private capital to support company growth.
• Strong financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting skills.
• Proficiency in evaluating investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and negotiating financial agreements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as a CFO or SVP of Finance for a global technology company.

Starting Salary Range: $200,000-$250,000

Position located in Greenwood Village, CO. Nextworld's hybrid model has co-location in-office days on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
