About Us: Right at Home is an in home care service provider for residents of Monmouth and Ocean Counties. We provide services for seniors and disabled adults who need some assistance with daily living. Job Duties:
Performs personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to):
- Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using a bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, shaving, skin, and hair)
- Ambulation/Transfers
- Dressing/Shaving
- Prepares meals and snacks according to instructions or special diets.
- Accompany patient on errands or medical appointments.
- Performs housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning bathroom
- Medication reminders
- Assisting with the prescribed range of motion exercises
- Understanding dementia care
- Incontinence care
- High school graduate or G.E.D. Certificate.
- Must hold a NJ Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) License.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and insured automobile preferred but not necessary.
- A 1-Step PPD OR QuantiFERON with Negative results dated no older than one year. Positive results require a chest x-ray dated no older than 5 years.
