Chemical Engineering Internship

Nammo Defense Systems Inc., a defense contractor, manufactures and supports shoulder-fired systems; energetic material solutions such as aircraft emergency escape systems, actuation devices, rocket motors, warheads, medium & large caliber ammunitions, mortar ammunition; and composite solutions including carbon fiber tubes and composite aero-structures.
At NDS, we take seriously our core values of Precision, Dedication and Care. We are seeking a highly qualified professional individual to fill a temporary Chemical Engineer Internship at our Mesa Arizona facility. 
NOTE:  This is a PAID Internship. *Local candidates only*
Primary Responsibilities

This role will perform various Engineering projects as a member of the organization and will include:
 
·        Support propellant/explosive processing operations
·        Preparation of sample hardware for testing
·        Test data analysis
·        Organization and documentation of historical technical data
·        Support internal research and development programs
·        Support current production programs
·        Present data, conclusions, and recommendations to team and management as required
 
Requirements, Education & Skills

·        Currently enrolled and/or attending college in a Mechanical, Aerospace, Chemical, or related Engineering program
·        Proficiency with software applications for engineering and business to include MS Office applications
·        Excellent critical thinking, communication, reading and writing skills
·        Other duties as required by management
