Position Summary:
Maintain chemical processes through analytical testing done by staff members. Assist in troubleshooting processes when there are issues or delays in production due to chemistry, procedure, and/or equipment. Continuously monitor existing processes to increase the quality of product and maximize operating efficiencies. Assist in developing and evaluating new processes, chemistries, and equipment to maximize the potential of those processes for new and existing customers.
Primary Job Functions:
- Troubleshoot processes when there are issues or delays in production due to chemistry, procedure, or equipment
- Continuously monitor and improve existing processes to increase the quality of product and maximize operating efficiencies
- Assist analytical and operating personnel(s) in their daily duties to ensure the processes remain within control specifications
- Implement/monitor Statistical Process Control for all chemical processes
- Create and present SPC analysis reports to upper management on a weekly basis
- Maintain all chemical make ups and main constituent add backs for all plating baths
- Perform daily housekeeping duties in the chemical storage room
Secondary Job Functions:
- Personally manage “special project/processes”
- Provide technical leadership to production platers on new/existing jobs, as required
- Help develop and directly manage all “critical processes”; to include certain EPI gold jobs and/or any rework jobs as determined “critical”
- Provide technical support to lab personnel(s); inclusive of providing complete lab back-up when necessary
Job Qualification Requirements:
- Must have a Bachelor in Chemistry or a minimum of five years directly-related experience in an electro-plating job shop or chemical vendor technical service department
- Must have a working familiarity of plating specifications

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
