Coleman Health Services is a nationally recognized not-for-profit provider of behavioral health and rehabilitation programs to foster recovery, build independence, and change destinies for individuals, families, and businesses in our community. We are seeking Chat/Text Crisis Specialist in Stark County, OH. This is not a remote position.
Duties Chat/Text Line Includes:
- Provide crisis intervention, support, and referrals via chat or text.
- Effectively complete risk assessments via chat or text
- Work collaboratively with the visitor to create a safety plan
- Demonstrate sensitivity, empathy, objectivity, professionalism, effective customer service skills, and sound clinical judgment in the course of all work.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure client needs are met
- Consult with a supervisor on clinical needs as appropriate
- Accurately document interactions
Chat/Text Line Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required
- Past or current experience in motivational interviewing, crisis intervention, and trauma informed care is preferred
- Must be able to pass a drug/alcohol screening
