We are searching for an experienced Customer Service Agent at our Wilmington, NC facility.
Objective:
- Order entry process owner of the Chase product line within HMF facility.
- Work hand in hand with sales, operations, supply chain, and logistics to meet product expectations.
- Become a product expert on application and customizations available in production.
- Have a full understanding of the product's life cycle/processes from order entry to customer delivery.
Responsibilities include:
- Apply knowledge of products and engineering systems to consult sales and enter customer specifications quickly and accurately into our order management system.
- Communicate lead times for specific products each week.
- Start orders in the HMF ERP system including freight, packaging, and lead time.
- Troubleshoot orders damaged upon arrival to customer and resolve in a timely manner.
- Implement continuous improvement wherever possible including but not limited to consulting department heads, creating documentation, cross-training team members, implementing and auditing new practices.
Qualifications include:
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong influencing skills to gather critical information from various functional areas
- Willingness to do what it takes to meet both internal and external commitments
- Highly accountable
- Works well in a team environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated
- Works with a sense of urgency
- Computer proficient (skilled in excel and Microsoft office is helpful)
