Westmoreland Intermediate Unit (WIU) is seeking applicants for a Certified School Nurse (CSN) position. The Certified School Nurse involves the science or art of the knowledge and competence required in addressing the health care needs of learners across grades PK-12. The Certified School Nurse (CSN) is qualified to provide information and services in school health-related areas; assess, document, and manage the health care needs of learners in grades PK-12, including those with disabilities; and recognize symptoms and consequences of safety and environmental factors.

Minimum Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Degree from a CCNE-accredited institution; Licensure as a Registered Nurse; PA Certificate in School Nurse PK-12 (CSPG 80)

Minimum Experience: 1-3 years acute care or school nursing experience required.
