Certified School Nurse starting with the 2024-25 School Year
Job Summary: The Certified School Nurse (CSN) is responsible for maintaining and/or improving the health status of the school's Grade K-3 students, thus enabling them to benefit fully from their educational experiences and to promote optimum health status and lifestyles for all students through the joint efforts of the home, school and community.
Qualifications: Current PA Registered Nurse license; minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN); Certification as a School Nurse by PA Department of Education; CPR/AED certification; Background/experience preferred in pediatric nursing and community health nursing.
Note: Lower Moreland Township School District has a practice of hiring all incoming Certified School Nurses who are new to the district at the first step of their applicable educational column (Bachelor's, Master's, etc.) regardless of their years of service in other school districts.
