We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Personal Trainer's. As a Personal Trainer, you will work closely with clients to provide personalized fitness training, guidance, and support to help them achieve their health and fitness goals. The ideal candidate should have a deep knowledge of exercise science, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and be passionate about helping individuals improve their overall well-being through physical fitness.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct fitness assessments and consultations to understand clients' goals, fitness levels, and any health considerations.
- Design customized workout programs tailored to individual clients' needs, incorporating various exercise techniques, equipment, and training modalities.
- Provide one-on-one or small group personal training sessions, demonstrating proper exercise form, technique, and safety precautions.
- Motivate and inspire clients to stay committed to their fitness journey, providing ongoing support and encouragement.
- Monitor clients' progress, track their achievements, and make necessary adjustments to training programs as needed.
- Educate clients on proper nutrition, hydration, and lifestyle choices to complement their fitness goals.
- Ensure clients are using exercise equipment correctly and safely, offering guidance and modifications as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized training area, ensuring the availability and proper functioning of fitness equipment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest fitness trends, research, and industry developments to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Continuously engage in professional development opportunities, such as workshops and certifications, to expand expertise and offer innovative training approaches.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or questions promptly.
Requirements:
- Certification from a reputable fitness organization (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM) as a Personal Trainer.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing effective fitness programs for individuals with varying fitness levels and goals.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, exercise physiology, and principles of exercise science.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with clients and create a supportive training environment.
- Passion for helping individuals achieve their fitness goals and improve their overall well-being.
- Ability to motivate and inspire clients, adapting training approaches to accommodate different learning styles and personalities.
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Additional certifications (e.g., group fitness, specialty training, nutrition) are a plus.
- Proficiency in using fitness tracking software or apps to monitor and document client progress.
This is for an already established trainer to have access to the facility to train their clients.
It would be strictly what you would like to make it, hours, clients, etc. Independent contractor.
It is at a CrossFit gym, so if there are any leads who come in looking for one on ones we can refer them to you, but this position is solely what you want to make it with a % cut to the gym to use space and equipment.
