Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. As a COTA, you will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic services to patients in various settings. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist
- Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, activities, and modalities
- Monitor and document patient progress and outcomes
- Collaborate with the Occupational Therapist to modify treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and strategies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Qualifications:
- Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
- Valid state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Experience working with diverse patient populations, including pediatrics and adults
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and occupational health principles
- Familiarity with medical imaging and acute care settings is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
