Job Responsibilities:
This is a Home Health position for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA). The COTA is responsible for following the Plan of Care and implementing interventions based on the POC and goals. COTA will be responsible for maintaining contact with the supervisers while coordinating care between patient and POC. The COTA will manage their own schedule and drive to patients throughout the day. This job is very autonomous, perfect for those who don’t enjoy being kept working in a facility all day.
We are currently looking for a HOME HEALTH COTA comfortable working with PEDIATRIC as well as GERIATRIC patients.
Locations served: Lakeland and surrounding areas.
Qualifications:
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
- Current Florida State License as an Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Current Florida Driver’s License, registration, and auto insurance.
- Current CPR, physical and PPD
- Preferred experience as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in Home Health.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
